Many people don’t recognize their gallbladder stones because they have hardly any symptoms or not at all. If a gallstone blocks the Gallbladder outflow, sudden, severe abdominal pain, known as biliary colic, can result.
If the blockage is more severe or blockage occurs in another part of the digestive system, other symptoms may also occur.
Gallbladder Symptoms
- A sudden rapidly intensifying pain in the upper right part of the abdomen
- Sudden and a rapidly aggravated pain in the center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone
- Back pain between the shoulder blades
- Pain in the right shoulder
- Nausea or vomiting
- The pain is constant and is not relieved by going to the toilet, or going through the wind.
- Eating fatty foods often causes it, but it may occur at any time of day and can wake you up during the night.
Gallbladder Preventions
- Eat more foods rich in fiber: Include fiber-rich foods in your diet like vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, etc.
- Don’t skip meals: Stick to your regular daily mealtimes. Fasting or skipping meals or can increase the risk of gallstones.
- Lose weight slowly: If you want to lose weight, then go slow. Rapid weight loss will increase the risk of gallstones.
- Maintain a healthy weight: Being overweight or obese increases the risk of gallbladder stones. Workout to achieve a healthy weight by reducing the number of calories you eat, and you must increase the amount of physical activity in your daily lifestyle.
